We do not hide impersonally behind our business name and website, in an effort to shirk responsibility and hide behind bad service. Instead, we realize that an essential part of establishing and maintaining good customer service is to put a name and face to our business, and therefore take accountability for each and every business transaction!
Meet the Lybberts...
With that in mind, North Star Treasures is a family-owned business--created and operated by Alisa & Jared Lybbert. Our business origins are in Skagway, Alaska, where we met each other during our college years. After marrying, and returning to Skagway each summer to work, we decided it was time to be our own boss. We opened our own business when our first child was only 4 weeks old, literally building the business from scratch. For years we toiled away at the cash register, balancing our growing family (now 3 beautiful children) with our busy work life. Eventually, it became clear that we had different priorities in life, and it was time to bring our Skagway chapter to a close. In the Fall of 2009, we closed our Alaskan doors, packed up our business, family and a cargo trailer, and headed South.
A New Chapter...
During our retail years, we had the opportunity to represent so many fine products and artisans. When we closed our physical store, there were a few products we were not willing to give up...Thus, our business lives on! Our roots are in Polish Pottery, and in order to feed our own obsession, and the cravings of other collectors, we offer a huge selection of Polish Pottery online. We pride ourselves in affordable and fast shipping!
We are also proud retailers of Tense Wood Watches, offering one of the largest (and most complete) selections of these handcrafted wood watches available anywhere! Our customers have the unique opportunity to select from a variety of watch faces and styles, and customize a wood watch exactly to their taste. We wear our wood watches every day...and are confident you will fall in love with them, too!

We are Tense Wholesale Sales Representatives for 10 US states, including Utah, Montana, Hawaii, Maryland, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Southeast Alaska. Because of our extensive experience selling these watches, we have been able to carefully identify other quality stores that have had great success representing this unique product line. They are an ideal addition to gift shops, galleries, museum shops, and boutiques. We pride ourselves in service that is above-and-beyond a typical Sales Representative!
Wholesale Flower Jewelry...
In the Spring of 2010, we launched our own product line of Natural Flower Jewelry. We enjoy designing new jewelry pieces, and seeing how well the artisans craft the beautiful miniature flowers into everlasting jewelry collectibles. While our target market has been to Alaskan Gift Stores (our knowledge specialty), we are also expanding into other markets throughout the US.
